More 6 month adventures

Kelly is meeting a lot of new people and seeing all sorts of new places!

On our trip to Friday Harbor, we also went up to Victoria, B.C., where she saw the lights come on at the Empress Hotel.

She fell into a deep sleep on the return ferry while Andy walked laps with her in the Ergo.

Kelly did wake up in time to watch the sun set and the water rush past the ferry with Grandma.

Which made her pretty happy

Kelly also mastered holding on to her bottle. When she feels like it, that is.

Apparently, she stopped feeling like it.

Kelly dipped her toe into politics.

AND, Kelly started eating solids! Here’s a preview:

About samuelfamily

We are 30-somethings who are completely enamored with our miniature dachshund Goobers, team member Kelly Sue, who joined us in December 2011, and our newest team member, Norah Jo, who joined us in October 2014. We moved from Seattle to Bellingham in 2016, and spend our time traveling locally and globally, and tackling parenting together. We decided we were worthy of a blog after getting married in 2006 and taking a 5 week trip to Europe in 2007. While our day-to-day life isn't always that dramatic or adventurous, we manage to amuse ourselves. Enjoy. Or not. Whatever.

Kathy, you’ll notice in an upcoming post that she starts off wearing a shirt but it doesn’t last very long!
