Kelly’s first afternoon tea

A trip up to the islands isn’t complete until you hop over to Canada for a day or two! After a lovely couple of days on San Juan Island, eating, and eating, and well, eating, we headed over to Vancouver Island for the weekend to explore Victoria, B.C. It was Kelly’s first international travel experience!

Traveling is apparently very tiring. But one must keep tight hold of a sippy cup lest it disappear forever.

Well, sort of.

Good thing there’s no tea in the cup!

About samuelfamily

We are 30-somethings who are completely enamored with our miniature dachshund Goobers, team member Kelly Sue, who joined us in December 2011, and our newest team member, Norah Jo, who joined us in October 2014. We moved from Seattle to Bellingham in 2016, and spend our time traveling locally and globally, and tackling parenting together. We decided we were worthy of a blog after getting married in 2006 and taking a 5 week trip to Europe in 2007. While our day-to-day life isn't always that dramatic or adventurous, we manage to amuse ourselves. Enjoy. Or not. Whatever.

    Hi!

Isn’t that the awesome place where we had p.m. Tea together? Neat!

Hi Wendy! It actually isn’t– this place is the Empress Hotel in Victoria, and we all had tea together in Vancouver at this place: http://www.wedgewoodhotel.com/files_2/dining.php. It took me forever to track that place down again online! Every time Andy and I have afternoon tea somewhere we talk about how fun it was with you and Neil! Such a great memory!
