Thanks for all the warm wishes, everyone! We’re excited to welcome another girl into our family.
It was so, so hard to choose the pictures for the card! Marie took such great pictures, and the chance to have them set at Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariner’s, was so fun!
So here is a collection of some of my favorite pictures from the day.
OK, so technically the first three aren’t from Safeco Field! Can you IMAGINE taking Goobers there? What a nightmare! So we took some at home on the couch and it worked fine! If you’re wondering how we got him to lick the bat, we used peanut butter! (I made sure, of course, that the bat had no splinters in it!)
The whole weekend it was nice, and it ONLY rained the hour we were at Safeco. Sigh. I would have loved this picture for the card, but there is seriously a raindrop OVER MY EYE.
But this one of Kelly is really adorable.
Hanging out in the dug out! Kelly was super cooperative, it was great! (well, except for getting her to smile, that’s always a challenge, she’s very serious!)
Here she is asking if there is a baby in her tummy, too.
She really liked the baseball helmet.
It looks like I am about to whack Andy in the head! I’m also, I’d like to point out, pushing my stomach out so it really looks like I am pregnant. I promise I’m not that large YET. (but soon!)
Things got a little out of hand.
Heading into the tunnel after pictures were done.
Special thanks to our friend Marie, who always takes awesome pictures for us and has a sweet hookup to Safeco Field!
