Nothing like squeezing in a cross country flight with a toddler to spend a week on a ship after a surgery and before a move! Whew!
But we did it and we had a great time. Here are some highlights:
Everyone in our group. Samuels as far as the eye can see!
Exploring the ridiculously huge ship (and yes, that is a fountain and a car in the middle of the boat!)
Kelly’s progression from being nervous about the carousel to falling madly, madly in love with it.
Video of Kelly on the carousel.
Part of the mall area on the ship had a little dog statue, which Kelly insisted on barking at every time we passed it. She also enjoyed pulling his tail.
Kelly and Andy may look like they are trapped inside a bingo cage, but they are actually playing on the playground. Because, of course, there’s a playground!
Kelly trying on a new personality.
Some shots of the Allure of the Seas. A bit on the small side, I guess. 🙂
Kelly playing in the Royal Tots Nursery with a bunch of great Fisher Price toys. (because, of course, there’s a nursery. And a kids area. And a teen area. And a kids-only arcade. And a regular arcade. And a mini golf course. HAVE I MENTIONED THE SHIP WAS BIG?!)
Kelly briefly on shore in Jamaica. Andy ate an amazing mango, Kelly fell in love with a little plastic snow globe, and I was just pumped to not be seasick for a few hours.
A nice sushi dinner “out” (we’re still on the ship) with Chris and Laura.
Kelly at the DreamWorks character breakfast. She preferred to stay a safe distance from the large animals!
On the ship, I happened to have my birthday, so we took some pictures on a part of the ship called Central Park (it was an amazing space). Kelly was unfortunately cranky at this point in the day, and I’m hot (dude, it is the Caribbean) and seasick, but at least Andy looks and feels good!
On one of our last nights, the family had a private session with the Flow Rider instructors.
So, there you have it. I know it isn’t a text heavy, interesting post, but we move in TWO DAYS people. TWO. Work with me.
Treasure in the picture with you and Andy at dinner, it looks like Pixie Dust sprinkled around you. You never know where you will find Tinkerbell!
