Kelly is 5 months old and here is what we have been up to lately.
Her first trip to the University of Washington! We met Marie for lunch at the library cafe and then I showed Kelly off to friends and former professors. I love this picture– her face cracks me up.
Rocking her Jedi Princess onesie and doggie paw print pants. (It’s my quiet rebellion against all the Disney princess merchandising shoved down girls’ throats)
Nothing like looking out your kitchen window and seeing your neighbor… on their roof…
Trying out rice cereal
Proof than now Kelly can roll to her side (well, one side at least)
Playing with toys with both her fingers and her toes
Must. Get. Monkey. Toy. In. Mouth.
Big enough to ride upright in the stroller and take on the world.
This is the look of a very patient dachshund
So patient, in fact, that he puts up with Kelly “petting” him
Napping has not been going well lately. I tried for hours and got her down in her crib for about 20 minutes. She was playing on the floor… aaaaaaaaand fell asleep. Really??!! (note awesome dachshund blanket from Nina)
Goobers turned 6! He had his usual cake of cottage cheese and pineapple and opened (really, he did) a new squeaky toy. He also got a party at doggie daycare. Here’s proof:
Andy received his Academic Honor certificate from Boston U. He was awarded it for maintaining a GPA about a 3.8!
In case you couldn’t read it:
