We are almost 30-somethings who are completely enamored with our miniature dachshund Goobers. We spend our time eating our way around Seattle, traveling locally and globally, and tackling the joys of living in an 80 year old home. We decided we were worthy of a blog after getting married in 2006 and taking a 5 week trip to Europe in 2007. While our day-to-day life isn’t always that dramatic or adventurous, we manage to amuse ourselves. Enjoy. Or not. Whatever.

Hey…this is so cool!! We love Goober’s pic! So where is Goober going to stay while you two are dashing around Europe, etc.? Sounds like a super trip. John and I are extremely jealous. Our biggest travel hint: pack as lightly as possible! And your idea of posting stuff as you go is a really good one. Then you’ll have a wonderful diary of your trip when you return. It’s amazing how, when you’re travelling at a quick rate, you forget exactly what you did two days earlier. But this way you’ll have a great record of what you did…where and when.
