August was a VERY busy work month for both of us and the weather was less than stellar, so at least it wasn’t gorgeous outside while we were both stuck inside! We are keeping busy enjoying our new dishwasher, seeing family, attending a wedding of my cousin who was also my student (!!!), beginning other work on the house, and continuing the exciting process of having our yard redone. Despite all of this, we did sneak in our annual trip to Woodland Park Zoo near our house. I adore gorillas and I had a staring contest with this one:
